Jessica Nelson focuses her practice on healthcare litigation where she has experience representing hospitals, physicians and other healthcare professionals and institutional providers. She also brings extensive experience to the litigation of complex tort and product liability cases.
For several years, prior to her career as an attorney, Jessica served as a paralegal in support of a busy toxic tort litigation practice. There she constructed the framework for each case, building a strategy from the ground up. That foundational knowledge has proved invaluable in developing strategic theories, assembling evidence, and constructing arguments across her expanding litigation practice.
Matching her legal acumen with a deep knowledge of medical care and medical conditions, Jessica is well-versed in a multitude of issues facing health care professionals. In the complicated arena of healthcare litigation, she is highly adept in her assessment of potential liability and in the development of effective strategies for the defense of claims of medical malpractice. She is actively immersed in numerous complex litigation matters involving claims of catastrophic injury and death, including the representation of clients at deposition and trial.
